Renowned American actor and WWE icon, John Cena, recently unveiled his plans for retiring from professional wrestling. At the WWE Money in the Bank event held in Toronto, Canada, Cena confirmed that he will be stepping away from in-ring competition in 2025.

He outlined his final appearances at significant events including the 2025 Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania 41, all slated for Las Vegas. Embracing a ‘John Cena Farewell Tour 2025’, the 16-time world champion reflected on his career, stating, “I’ve been in the WWE for over two decades, through highs and lows. WWE is at its peak now, but I’ve also experienced tough times when few knew my name or stood by me.”
Cena expressed his involvement in Raw’s transition to Netflix in January. He joined WWE in 2002 and transitioned to a part-time role in 2018 to focus on his acting career.
