Former Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro has shared advice on how Samuel Chukwueze can thrive in his new journey with AC Milan.
Since moving from Villarreal to Milan in 2023, Chukwueze has faced some hurdles, often watching games from the bench. Adjusting to a new league and team dynamics can be tough, but Peseiro is confident the young winger has what it takes to succeed.
Reflecting on his time coaching Chukwueze with the Nigerian national team, Peseiro praised the player’s raw talent. “He’s extraordinary. His skills, alongside those of Rafael Leao, are remarkable, and both have so much room to grow,” he shared.
Peseiro expressed trust in Milan’s coaching setup, particularly Paulo Fonseca, to nurture Chukwueze’s potential and unlock his best performances.
So far, Chukwueze has managed six goals and four assists in 56 appearances for Milan. While these numbers don’t yet showcase his full attacking ability, Peseiro believes the winger’s best days are ahead as he adapts and gains more opportunities.
For Chukwueze, the road may be challenging, but with time, support, and perseverance, the future looks bright.
