Jose Peseiro Declines Kayserispor Coaching Offer Amid Club Struggles
Jose Peseiro, the former head coach of the Super Eagles, has decided not to take up the coaching role at Turkish Super Lig club Kayserispor. The 64-year-old Portuguese manager made this decision after discussions with the club’s officials, according to Portuguese news outlet A Bola.
Peseiro’s decision comes amid the club’s ongoing struggles. Kayserispor has failed to win in their last five matches, with four losses and one draw. Currently sitting in 17th place with just 16 points, the club is also facing a ban on registering new players for the next three transfer windows, further complicating the situation.
Since leaving the Super Eagles in February 2024, Peseiro has been without a coaching role.

With three-and-a-half years remaining on his contract with Ajax, Akpom joined the Dutch side in 2023 after an impressive season with Middlesbrough, scoring eight goals in 31 appearances.
Manchester United Set to Complete £30 Million Transfer for Patrick Dorgu
Manchester United are close to securing a £30 million deal for Lecce’s young left wing-back, Patrick Dorgu. Discussions between the two clubs have been ongoing since last week, with most details of the transfer reportedly finalized.
Sky Sport has revealed that Dorgu is expected to be the first signing for Ruben Amorim, United’s new manager. The 20-year-old has expressed his eagerness to join the club, and the personal terms are expected to be agreeable.
Dorgu’s arrival will help strengthen United’s left wing-back position, which has become a key priority for Amorim since his appointment. The Danish international, who has made 53 Serie A appearances since joining Lecce in 2022 from Danish club Nordsjaelland, also boasts four caps for Denmark.
