Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has shut down recent chatter about a possible move for Victor Osimhen, insisting there’s no truth to the talk.
Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, has a hefty €75 million release clause—enough to spark plenty of transfer buzz across Europe. Given Giuntoli’s past role in bringing the striker to Napoli from Lille, the rumors linking him to Juventus seemed to gain traction quickly.
But Giuntoli made it clear in an interview with Derin Football: “I’m not looking at Osimhen. These reports are just noise. Juventus isn’t pursuing him.”
Elsewhere in football, Karim Adeyemi has opened up about his decision to represent Germany on the international stage, despite his Nigerian and Romanian roots.
The 23-year-old, born in Munich, had options when it came to national allegiance—but ultimately went with the country he grew up in. “It’s not an easy question—I’ve had to explain it to my dad more than once,” he said.
Adeyemi shared that his early experiences with Germany’s football system played a big role in his choice. “It just felt right. In the end, Germany was where I belonged,” he added.
Since making his decision, Adeyemi has appeared six times for the German national team, finding the net once.
