Following the premiere of “Harry & Meghan,” the Netflix docuseries about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Kate Middleton is reportedly angry with him.
According to a source who spoke to Us Weekly on Thursday, “Kate feels upset and betrayed that Harry would do this to her, too, especially when the couple used to be so close.”
According to the outlet, Prince William “isn’t planning to give his side of the story or openly retaliate” in response to the six-episode series.
The insider continued, “He’s maintaining dignity and moving forward with the job.”
We were informed by a source last week that both William and Middleton, both 40, have not seen “Harry & Meghan.”
The insider stated at the time, “Don’t expect the couple to settle down in their cottage with a bowl of popcorn and tune in alone. Their aides have briefed them on the show.”
Throughout the Liz Garbus-directed movie, Harry, 38, and Markle, 41, mentioned the Prince and Princess of Wales numerous times.
Harry said that his departure from England caused a “wedge” between him and his older brother in addition to the former military pilot accusing his older brother of breaking an alleged “agreement” to not release information about one another to the media.
A 2020 article about the siblings’ conflict was also brought up by Harry, who claimed he had not consented to a joint statement “squelching the myth about [William] bullying” him and Markle out of the family.
The Duke of Sussex claimed in the Netflix documentary, “No one had approached me for permission to put my name to a statement like that.
When the future king’s communications secretary provided a last-minute witness statement in her 2021 lawsuit over the publishing of a private letter to her father, Markle made her sentiments about her brother-in-law extremely obvious despite her refusal to criticize him in the television series.
Harry was informed by the Duchess of Sussex, “It’s your brother.” “I’m not going to talk about your brother, but it’s very clear that he approved that comment,”
In January 2020, Harry and Markle took a step back from their responsibilities as senior members of the royal family, and in February 2021, they resigned formally.
The family currently resides in Montecito, California with their two children, Lilibet, 1, and Archie, 3, son.
