Following weeks of reported shortages, Kenya’s Ministry of Health has assured the country that there are enough condoms.
Susan Nakhumicha announced on Wednesday that 38 million condoms were ready for distribution, blaming supply constraints for regions experiencing shortages.
“We are working hard to ensure that the time between ordering and receiving the condoms is as short as possible,” Ms. Nakhumicha said.

Activists have criticized the government, claiming that delays in condom distribution were endangering people’s lives.
