The SKIMS founder is set to star in the FX hit series’ upcoming 12th season.
Kim Kardashian is a reality star, entrepreneur, and skincare mogul — and she’s about to become a high-profile actress.
The SKIMS founder will join Emma Roberts in the 12th season of FX’s American Horror Story, which was written specifically for her, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“Kim is one of the world’s biggest and brightest television stars, and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family,” said AHS co-creator Ryan Murphy. “Emma and I are thrilled to be working with this cultural force.” Halley Feiffer has written a fun, stylish, and ultimately terrifying role for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we’ve done before.”
Filming for the new season is set to begin in New York City later this month, with a summer premiere currently planned, though Murphy and FX have yet to reveal specifics.
Kardashian has appeared on shows such as How I Met Your Mother, 2 Broke Girls, and Paw Patrol, but her role in American Horror Story is her biggest to date.
The star teased the news on Instagram, posting a teaser clip with eerie music and the caption: “Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian are delicate.” She accompanied the post with a blood drop and an eyes emoji.
