Kizz Daniel has opened up about why he couldn’t make it to his much-anticipated Paris show, a situation that stirred disappointment among fans earlier in the week.
Taking to Instagram, the singer explained that his absence was due to a misunderstanding between his tour agent and the event promoter. He shared that while he was ready to travel early that morning, he missed his flight after his agent delayed departure in an attempt to settle payment disputes with the promoter.
Official documents from the agent’s company later confirmed that the Paris concert had been canceled.
According to Kizz Daniel, he had received full payment from his tour agent, who later sold the show to another promoter. However, issues arose when the new promoter allegedly failed to complete the required payments, leading to a breach of contract.
He wrote, “This situation wasn’t my fault. My tour agent handled the deal, and when a disagreement over payments came up, we couldn’t make the flight on time. I was ready to go since 6 a.m. for a 12:25 p.m. flight, but the delay cost us the show. The next flight available was much later in the day.”
The Woju hitmaker emphasized that he was eager to perform for his fans in Paris and promised to share the official notice of the breach to clear the air.
