XXXTentacion is receiving flowers from Kodak Black.
The “Super Gremlin” rapper paid tribute to the late star on Instagram on Friday, calling him a “legend” and one of the best to come out of his hometown.
Kodak, who hails from Broward County in Florida, shared a photo of XXXTentacion with a touching caption.
“Really, nothing… “I was just thinking about you bro DAM BROWARD COUNTY WE LOST A LEGEND,” he wrote. “@xxxtentacion One of the best things that have ever happened to this small town where I live.”

He also posted a photo of Bryant Barnes, an artist who “reminds me of Jah,” referring to X’s real name, Jahseh.
Kodak and X are best known for their collaboration on Kodak’s 2017 hit “Roll in Peace,” which peaked at No. 31 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Kodak will perform this weekend at Rolling Loud California before entering rehab on March 7. A judge ordered him to a drug rehabilitation facility for 30 days earlier this week after he allegedly tested positive for fentanyl while awaiting trial on a drug trafficking charge.
On June 18, 2018, XXXTentacion was killed outside RIVA Motorsports in Fort Lauderdale. Three men have been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the fatal shooting. The case could be heard by a jury as soon as next week. They face life in prison if convicted.
A judge ruled last month that Drake would not have to testify in the case. Defense attorneys contended that the Toronto rapper had a reason for killing X following their 2017 feud.
