Kuami Eugene, the acclaimed singer and songwriter, has shared an update on his health following a serious accident he was involved in.
Currently undergoing treatment at the University of Ghana Medical Center, Kuami Eugene took to his Instagram page on Thursday, March 28, to express his gratitude for surviving the accident.

In the images he posted, the ‘Monica’ hitmaker can be seen with a splint on his right arm, presumably for a broken arm. Despite his condition, he appeared to be in good spirits, seated on the hospital bed with a mini speaker and laptop, possibly working on a project.
In his Instagram post, Kuami Eugene thanked God, his family, the UGMC staff, and all his well-wishers for their prayers and support during this challenging time. He expressed his appreciation for the overwhelming love and kindness he has received.

The Accident:
The accident occurred on the N1 Highway near the DSTV office, en route to the Dzowulu traffic light, on Sunday, March 17, as Kuami Eugene was heading home.
Though he survived the accident, Kuami Eugene sustained injuries. According to eyewitnesses, his Range Rover collided with a tipper truck due to poor visibility caused by darkness and the lack of tail lights on the truck.
Both Kuami Eugene and his male passenger were rushed to the UGMC for treatment, where they are currently receiving medical care.
