The rapper was a jubilant supporter on Saturday night as he stood on scaffolding, waving the Moroccan flag and chanting with the thousands of fans who had gathered to celebrate their soccer team’s victory over Portugal — sorry, Cristiano Ronaldo — and advancement to the World Cup quarterfinals.

French, who was born and spent his formative years in Casablanca, Morocco, was ecstatic after seeing his Atlas Lions perform the Cinderella story.
Morocco has become the first African nation and the first Arab nation to make it this far in the World Cup, and they did it by defeating storied rivals like Belgium, Spain, and now Portugal.
Later on Saturday night, French kept things lively for Alicia Keys’ concert at the United Palace in New York City. There he was hanging out with Alicia’s husband, Swizz Beatz, still beaming from ear to ear.
