Egungun of Lagos Responds to Viral Video with Bold Instagram Post
Popular Nigerian content creator Kuye Adegoke, known as Egungun of Lagos, has finally addressed the uproar caused by a leaked video that surfaced online over the weekend.
The viral clip shows Egungun brushing his teeth during a video call with an unidentified woman. However, while casually dressed in shorts, he inadvertently exposed his private parts, triggering a wave of criticism and disappointment from fans and social media users.
This controversy comes shortly after Egungun’s wife, Pashotah, revealed that her husband had previously been a target of blackmail involving private videos. She explained that a Snapchat user had screen-recorded a video Egungun meant to send to her but mistakenly posted on his public Snapchat story.
Pashotah had defended her husband against the blackmail attempt, expressing her support for him and their marriage. However, the recent incident has reignited online discussions, with many questioning Egungun’s credibility as a family man and casting doubts on his wife’s earlier defence.
In response to the backlash, Egungun appeared unbothered. He shared a lively video on Instagram, dancing enthusiastically with a woman in his living room to Zlatan and Olamide’s hit song Gimme Love.
He accompanied the video with the caption, “That’s massive baby but still give me your love baby,” signaling a carefree attitude despite the controversy.
