After releasing his final album two years ago, winning a Grammy, and creating an Amazon documentary, the Atlanta rapper is still going strong. With his most recent album, It’s Only Me, the hip-reigning hop champion made a comeback on Friday. Future, Young Thug, Nardo Wick, Jeremih, and Pooh Shiesty all make guest appearances on the 23-track album, which was produced by Murda Beatz, Wheezy, and Tay Keith.
Prior to its debut, Baby released a number of songs, including “Heyy,” “Detox,” “Right On,” “In a Minute,” and “Frozen”—the rapper currently charging $300,000 for a featured verse.
His life during the last two years is detailed on the album, which follows the 4x platinum My Turn. Baby explained to “The Experience Podcast” that since she hasn’t released an album in about two years, some of the tracks are new. I experienced a lot of ups and downs in the past two years, so it’s kind of different vibes.
