Lil Uzi Vert has adopted a new persona.
During his visit to Thailand for Rolling Loud, the “Just Wanna Rock” rapper debuted his new alter ego “Leslie.” Uzi posted a series of photos in which he wears his hair straight and bangs with pink nails.
“Leslie was in Thailand,” he captioned the photo.
Ken Jeong’s character from The Hangover film series appears to have inspired Uzi’s new alter ego.
He also posted a video in which he recited one of Leslie Chow’s most famous lines from the film series. “Toodaloo motherfu**ers,” he muttered as he smoked a cigarette.

However, Uzi’s new persona did not go over well with everyone, inciting jokes and hateful comments on social media. One person said, “This man looks like someone’s auntie,” while another said he was having a “mental breakdown.”
Nicki Minaj, Uzi’s collaborator, weighed in, comparing Uzi’s pink look to hers in Young Money’s “BedRock” video.

Uzi, on the other hand, doesn’t seem to be bothered by the Leslie haters. He responded to the criticism on his Instagram Story.
“Chow understands that people don’t like different ways of chow,” he wrote. “But chow don’t make af chow rich and never look back…..”LESLIE, suck my monkey tail.”
Uzi came under fire in July when he changed his pronouns to “they/them.” He changed the bio on his Instagram profile to reflect the change.
