Following the release of his critically acclaimed album Let’s Start Here, Yachty revealed who he hopes to collaborate with in the future, including André 3000, Bon Iver, Solange, and Tyler.
While he and the IGOR rapper have previously collaborated, Yachty has bigger plans.
“I’d love to collaborate on an album with Tyler. That would be difficult,” he told Billboard. “I just believe we have the potential to create something truly unique.”
Tyler, he says, encouraged him to record Let’s Start Here. “He’s like the reason I kinda made this album too. “He’s the one who said, ‘Just do it,'” he admitted. “I have a lot of respect for him because he always takes me seriously.”
Yachty also expressed his admiration for another Odd Future member, Frank Ocean. “We’ve spoken many times, but I’ve never gotten to have a real conversation with him like I want to. I’d love to work with him.”

With the January release of Let’s Start Here, the 25-year-old MC is finally getting his flowers.
“I was always kind of nervous to put out music, but now I’m on some other shit,” Yachty explained. “It was a lot of self-evaluation and being very honest about not being happy with where I was musical, knowing I’m better than where I am. Because the shit I was making did not add up to the shit I was listening to
“All I wanted was more,” he added. “I’d like to be remembered. “I’d like to be respected.”
When he played the psychedelic project for Tyler, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Post Malone, Drake, Cardi B, Kid Cudi, and A$AP Rocky, he knew he was onto something.
“Their reactions encouraged me,” said Yachty, who believes it is his best work yet. “F**k all the albums I released before this one.”
