Former Big Brother Naija star, Natasha Akide, better known as Tacha, has made it clear that love alone isn’t enough reason for her to walk down the aisle anymore.
Speaking in an interview on Yanga FM Lagos, Tacha explained that her outlook on marriage has evolved as her financial status grew. According to her, being a millionaire has shifted her perspective — her ideal partner must be someone who matches or surpasses her wealth.
“I can’t marry just because of love,” she said. “I’m looking for a billionaire. I’m a millionaire, so my potential husband should be richer than me. I’m certain I can’t marry for love. Before Big Brother Naija, maybe it would have been an option. But right now, it’s a no.”
Tacha added that marriage isn’t on her list of priorities at the moment. Her focus, she said, is on building her brand and expanding her career.
Since leaving the Big Brother Naija house in 2019, Tacha has turned her fame into a thriving business empire. She’s built multiple income streams through brand partnerships, social media campaigns, and her own ventures.
She is also the founder of Everything Tacha, a beauty and lifestyle brand, and continues to partner with top Nigerian and international companies.
