According to police, a man was detained in the central province of Sofala in Mozambique for having a man’s head and genitalia.
According to Dércio Chacate, a spokesman for Sofala’s police command, children in the Nhamatanda district discovered the body parts in a plastic bag and alerted the authorities.
The man who confessed to killing a man and then cutting off his head and genitalia so he could sell them was apprehended as a result of the investigations.
According to Mr. Chacate, the suspect has admitted to killing three additional people and decapitating their bodies.
Arrests of alleged masterminds and buyers were being made as investigations continued.
