Manchester City defeated Liverpool 4-1 on Saturday in the English Premier League, closing the gap at the top of the table to five points.

Julian Alvarez leveled the game in the 27th minute, and Kevin De Bruyne gave Manchester City the lead in the 46th minute.
In the 53rd minute, Ilkay Gundogan extended his team’s lead to 3-1, while Jack Grealish capped off a brilliant performance by scoring another goal for the Sky Blues in the 74th minute, and the game ended 4-1.
Manchester City is fifth with 64 points, five points behind leaders Arsenal, and Liverpool is sixth with 42 points.
