Nollywood actress Sunshine Rosman has opened up about her thoughts on love and marriage, stressing that true commitment and intentional effort are the real foundation of a lasting relationship.
Speaking on the Open Up podcast, Rosman shared that marriage isn’t meant for everyone. According to her, some people simply don’t have the desire or discipline to commit, and that’s perfectly fine.
“Not everyone is made for marriage,” she said. “Some people don’t want it, and others aren’t ready to put in the effort it takes. It’s not by force. For me, anything worth doing should be done wholeheartedly. If you’re not going to give your best, then don’t do it at all.”
The actress added that her belief in marriage comes from the strong example set by her parents, whose relationship continues to inspire her and her siblings.
In another conversation, actor Bucci Franklin addressed rumours linking him romantically to Rosman. The speculation began after the pair, who starred together in AY Makun’s movie The Waiter, shared a kiss on stage during the film’s premiere — a moment many fans mistook for real romance.
Franklin clarified that the kiss was simply part of their on-screen chemistry and not a reflection of any personal relationship. He praised Rosman as a talented colleague, saying he enjoys working with her and hopes to collaborate on future projects.
He also revealed that Sunshine has Nigerian roots, adding that their shared cultural connection makes working together even more special.
