Ghanaian actor Kwadwo Nkansah, widely known as LilWin, has provided an update on his ongoing legal conflict with fellow actress Martha Ankomah.
He disclosed that they have participated in two court sessions, aiming to settle the dispute through legal mediation and achieve an amicable resolution.
LilWin expressed optimism about the proceedings, indicating positive progress and suggesting a potential swift resolution.
Both parties have agreed to a court-ordered confidentiality agreement, prohibiting media coverage of the case, which explains the limited public discussion on the matter.
In a video shared by Express GH TV on YouTube, LilWin praised Martha’s acting prowess and expressed his desire to cast her in an upcoming film project.
“We’ve attended two court sessions, and the details remain confidential. I have immense respect for Martha’s acting talents. Once we resolve this dispute, I intend to involve her in my next film. I’ll personally discuss the script with her and share her decision with everyone,” he remarked.
The legal conflict arose from LilWin’s social media outburst on February 8, 2024, where he accused Martha Ankomah of repeatedly rejecting roles in the Kumawood film industry.
Martha Ankomah filed a lawsuit against LilWin, alleging defamation and damage to her reputation due to his statements. She seeks restitution of 5 million Ghana cedis for the harm inflicted on her reputation.
