Mary Gold Speaks Out on Allegations Involving Baba Tee and Dara
Nigerian socialite Mary Gold has addressed claims about Nollywood actor Baba Tee and content creator Ijoba Lande’s wife, Dara.
Amid Lande’s ongoing marital issues, rumors surfaced suggesting an intimate encounter between his wife and Baba Tee. Lande previously accused his wife of being involved with multiple entertainers and alleged that Mary Gold, who was both his manager and Dara’s friend, introduced her to them.
Responding in a live TikTok session, Mary Gold admitted to taking Dara to Baba Tee’s house but denied orchestrating any romantic involvement.
She explained that during a game of Truth or Dare, Dara took the lead in initiating things with Baba Tee. “I didn’t inform Baba Tee that I was bringing a guest. When we got there, they started playing a game, and Dara dared him to take things further. I was in the kitchen listening to music and later fell asleep, unaware of what happened between them.”
Mary Gold acknowledged her mistake in introducing them without Lande’s knowledge but insisted she had no ulterior motive. She also revealed that Baba Tee has since blocked her, urging people to stop blaming her for the situation.
