Ghanaian musicians Medikal and D Black have reconciled after a misunderstanding sparked by a video showing D Black lighting a cigar for Fella Makafui, Medikal’s ex-wife.
The two rappers were at odds after the viral video surfaced, showing Fella smoking a cigar while D Black lit it for her at one of his clubs. This incident led to a public spat, with Medikal expressing his displeasure on social media.
D Black, addressing the situation, wished that Medikal had reached out to him privately rather than airing grievances online. He clarified that he had no bad intentions and was unaware of the couple’s divorce at the time.
D Black explained that during a cigar party at his club, Fella Makafui, along with a group of 20 people, approached him and asked him to light her cigar. After doing so, she quickly left the scene, leaving D Black alone.
Medikal admitted that seeing the video pushed him to announce his divorce, as he wanted to avoid questions about Fella’s whereabouts. He acknowledged that his social media reaction was impulsive and driven by his emotions at the time.
In an interview with Bola Ray on Starr FM, both artists apologized to each other and embraced, putting an end to their feud. They also laughed about the playful jabs they exchanged in their songs during the disagreement.
Bola Ray praised their reconciliation and encouraged them to maintain harmony, urging them to continue on the path of peace.
