Meghan Markle dazzled in a glittery, gold metallic gown at the Ms. Foundation Women of Vision Awards: Celebrating Generations of Progress & Power last week in New York City. (We’re not over it yet!)
The ever-stylish Duchess of Sussex wore a strapless, curve-hugging Johanna Ortiz midi dress with a keyhole cutout, a high slit, and a flirty neckline.

Sussexes Involved In ‘Near Catastrophic Car Chase’ With Paparazzi In NYC On the night of the NYC awards event, May 16th, Markle, Harry, and Ragland left in an SUV at around 10 p.m. and were immediately followed by around 12 paparazzi, according to Page Six. A source reportedly detailed the incident to the publication (that many fans found eerily similar to events that lead to the death of Princess Diana, Harry’s mother), saying, “It started off with 12 paparazzi then ended up with four chasing [Meghan, Harry, and Doria].” “Their security tried their best to lose [photographers].”

In a statement last week, Harry’s spokesperson said, “Last night, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Ms. Ragland were involved in a near catastrophic car chase at the hands of a ring of highly aggressive paparazzi. This relentless pursuit, lasting over two hours, resulted in multiple near collisions involving other drivers on the road, pedestrians, and two NYPD officers.”

“While being a public figure brings with it a level of public interest, it should never come at the expense of anyone’s safety,” they continued. As Stylecaster points out, the statement concludes by requesting that news outlets “not circulate the images” taken by the photographers in question: “Dissemination of these images, given the ways in which they were obtained, encourages a highly intrusive practice that is dangerous to all involved.”
Fortunately, the Sussexes, Ragland, and their teams are all safe!
