At Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, the hip-hop icon earned her very own wax replica. Missy’s impersonator looks eerily like the “Get Ur Freak On” rapper while sporting the glitzy tracksuit she wore to win the Video Vanguard Award at the 2019 MTV VMAs.
No detail was missed, including Missy’s “Iconic” chain and braids, which she claims were made strand by strand.
On-site for the event on Friday, the five-time Grammy winner herself posed with her wax doppelganger.
“My WAX FIGURE is OFFICIALLY IMBORN in the @madametussaudsusa Museum in #LasVegas!” It’s called caute. “YOU MUST SEE IT IN PERSON!” she wrote before thanking everyone who helped make her wax figure a reality. “Many thanks to the AMAZING team who helped make this historical.”

The look-alike garnered a ton of appreciation on social media. One person said, “Na, this is definitely the best wax they’ve ever created,” and another said, “Truly couldn’t tell the difference.”
Fans can take part in the interactive #CoolOffChallenge when they visit Missy’s statue at the museum.
Recently, Madame Tussauds has been flourishing. A wax replica of Lil Nas X was recently unveiled at the museum; it was so lifelike that even his pals thought it was him.
Missy’s hometown of Portsmouth, Virginia, recently recognized her with the creation of her own street. The Missy Elliott Boulevard section of McLean Street was renamed in her honor by the city council on a unanimous vote.
“I’ve always been told to have big dreams. My dreams could never have been this large. At the unveiling ceremony, which was attended by Trey Songz, Timbaland, and Pusha T, Missy remarked, “Even though I have accomplished many things and I have received many honors, this transcends all when you get the love from your home.
