Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has made it clear that his top priority this season is winning the Premier League title over the UEFA Champions League. Salah, who has previously secured both the Premier League and Champions League trophies, believes domestic success holds significant value this year.
At 32 years old, Salah remains a key figure for Liverpool under Arne Slot’s management, continuing to showcase his remarkable skills on the pitch.
So far this season, Salah has been in outstanding form, scoring 17 goals in the Premier League while contributing 13 assists, demonstrating his ability to both score and create chances for his teammates.
Currently, Liverpool are performing exceptionally well, sitting atop the Premier League table with 45 points from 18 games.
In a recent interview with TNT Sports, Mohamed Salah expressed his desire for Premier League success, stating, “I want to win the Premier League title more than the Champions League this year. I really want it; as a team, we want it.”
Alongside his league ambitions, Salah has also made headlines recently for his support of Vinicius Jr. in the 2024 Ballon d’Or voting process, despite not being among the 30 nominees himself. Salah regards Vinicius Jr. as “the best player in the world” and believes he deserves recognition for his consistent improvement.
In his TNT Sports interview, Salah elaborated, “Vinicius Jr. is a very good player, that’s why. He’s improving every year, and hopefully, he can continue… I voted for him because he deserves it.”
However, despite Salah’s backing, it was Manchester City’s Rodri who took home the Ballon d’Or award in October, ahead of Vinicius Jr.
