Mr. Eazi has cleared the air on rumors about how he funded his wedding to Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola.
Speculation had been making the rounds that his recent single, Cassanova, was released to offset wedding expenses. The singer laughed off the claims, saying, “You think music alone could pay for that wedding, my guy? Lol.”
He went on to reveal that despite releasing big hits around 2017 and 2018, those years were some of the toughest for him financially. While his songs brought in income, it wasn’t nearly enough to cover a wedding of that scale.
Eazi expressed gratitude for the impact of his music during that period but made it clear that other financial streams played a role in making his dream wedding possible.
Mr. Eazi and Temi Otedola got married in a private ceremony in Iceland, not long after their engagement in London back in April 2022.
Meanwhile, Naira Marley also dropped a piece of advice on relationships. The singer cautioned people to be mindful of who they choose as partners, noting that a home without peace could feel more suffocating than prison.
“Be careful who you date or marry,” he wrote. “The toughest prison is a home without peace.”
