Renowned Nigerian musician, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’banj, has expressed gratitude towards his former business partner and producer, Don Jazzy, for his pivotal role in his music career.
D’banj and Don Jazzy co-founded Mo’Hits Records in 2004, which became a significant force in the Nigerian music industry until its disbandment in 2012 due to differences in interests, as stated by Don Jazzy.
However, following the split, Don Jazzy went on to establish Mavins Record Label, while D’banj launched DB Record Label.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, D’banj shared a video from his visit to Don Jazzy, where he presented him with an invitation card for his 20th anniversary dinner in the music industry.
The ‘Oliver Twist’ crooner acknowledged that his musical journey would not be complete without Don Jazzy by his side. Presenting the invite was a nostalgic moment for him, reflecting on the numerous achievements they accomplished together.
In his heartfelt message, D’banj reminisced about the countless memories and milestones they shared over the past two decades. He expressed profound appreciation for their enduring brotherhood, entertainment endeavors, and unwavering support.
He concluded his post with a declaration of love and admiration for Don Jazzy, signifying the deep bond between them that transcends the complexities of the music industry.
