Nigerian businessman and senator Ned Nwoko has reportedly issued an arrest warrant against his mother-in-law, Rita Daniels, escalating the ongoing conflict between him and his wife, Regina Daniels, and her family.
The tension began after Regina allegedly moved out of their matrimonial home. Following her departure, Ned accused the actress of substance use and claimed she was avoiding rehabilitation.
In a post shared online, Rita Daniels revealed that she had been informed of the senator’s directive for her arrest, stating:
“Ned has issued an arrest warrant against me. I’m to be arrested on or before Monday.”
This development comes amid the arrest of Regina’s brother, Sammy West, who was reportedly picked up in Lagos earlier in the week and transferred to Abuja.
Reacting to her brother’s arrest, Regina claimed it was a ploy to force her into returning home and submitting to her husband’s demands.
Meanwhile, her elder brother Sweezy has publicly accused Ned Nwoko of intimidation, saying that Sammy’s situation has gone beyond a regular arrest. He alleged that Sammy has been denied access to legal counsel, food, and water.
According to Sweezy, Ned allegedly vowed not to release Sammy until Regina returns to him — a claim that has stirred concern and outrage among fans and observers following the unfolding family drama.
