Nigerian billionaire and lawmaker, Senator Ned Nwoko, has firmly denied the ongoing rumors surrounding his relationship with Nollywood actress Chika Ike. Social media reports recently claimed that Chika Ike, who shared maternity photos announcing the birth of her baby on Instagram, is planning to move into Nwoko’s residence and that he is the father of her child.
However, in a statement released on Monday, Nwoko, through his Director of Communications, addressed these rumors as completely unfounded and the result of malicious speculation.
Setting the Record Straight
Senator Nwoko categorically rejected the rumors about marrying Chika Ike as his seventh wife and being responsible for her pregnancy. He described the claims as baseless and warned the public to dismiss them.
The statement clarified:
“Our attention has been drawn to the false rumors circulating that Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko is planning to marry Nollywood actress Chika Ike as his seventh wife and that she is pregnant with his child. These claims are entirely baseless and without merit. Additionally, reports linking him to statements about Tuface and polygamy are completely false.”

The statement further emphasized that, as a public figure and with his wife also being in the entertainment industry, it’s not uncommon for attention-seeking bloggers to create such stories. Senator Nwoko is currently focused on fulfilling his political duties and has no interest in distractions. His office is open to journalists for verification of any information.
