Nedu Wazobia Bids Farewell to Honest Brunch Podcast Amid Controversy with VeryDarkMan
Nedu Wazobia, the popular OAP, has announced his departure from the Honest Brunch Podcast after a public clash with social critic VeryDarkMan (VDM).
The drama kicked off when Nedu invited Deeone, a former Big Brother Naija star, to the podcast. During the show, Deeone made claims that VDM had engaged in inappropriate activities with men and allegedly accepted money for sexual favors.

In response, VDM took to his social media, accusing Nedu of intentionally inviting Deeone to tarnish his reputation. He didn’t hold back, spilling “secrets” about Nedu, including alleged personal details about his relationships and intimate encounters, and dared the OAP to deny any of it.
As the controversy escalated, some of the women named by VDM quickly refuted his claims, posting videos to clarify that their interactions with Nedu were strictly professional.
Amidst the growing backlash, Nedu decided it was time to step away from the podcast, citing the need for “peace of mind, family, and the integrity of the show itself.”
Nedu shared a heartfelt statement on his social media, explaining his decision to leave the show for the sake of his well-being.
