Comfort Muoneke, 73, was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for possessing 20 Permanent Voter Cards.
Two of her accomplice, Afekhana Esther and Segun Osaimokhai were also detained.
“Operators of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s Benin Zonal Command have detained three persons for being in possession of multiple Permanent Voter Cards,” the EFCC said in a statement on its Facebook page on Sunday.

Afekhana Esther, one of the accused, was apprehended with 20 PVCs belonging to different people at Ward 1, St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Ikpoba Okha, Benin City.
“She stated that the cards were given to her by the duo of Comfort Muoneke, 73, and Segun Osaimokhai.
“The suspects have provided helpful statements and will be charged in court as soon as the inquiry is finished.”
