Nollywood stalwart Paul Obazele has emerged as the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for the forthcoming September 21st governorship election in Edo State.
The primary election, held in Benin City’s Uselu area on Friday, witnessed a significant turnout of party supporters. During the event, fellow aspirants for the gubernatorial position unanimously endorsed Obazele as their standard-bearer.
Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials from the national headquarters oversaw the conduct of the primary election, commending its transparency and fairness.
With his nomination confirmed, Obazele is now set to compete against other contenders in the upcoming Edo State governorship election on September 21st.
