The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has postponed the rescheduled Matchday 17 fixture between Enyimba and Nasarawa United. The game, originally scheduled for Thursday, December 19, has now been postponed indefinitely.
Enyimba recently played against Mozambique’s Black Bulls, suffering a 3-0 defeat in their Matchday 3 encounter. The Aba-based team currently sits at the bottom of their group, with just one point from three matches.
Meanwhile, Nigerian goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali is back on the radar of South African giants Kaizer Chiefs. It’s worth noting that Kaizer Chiefs had previously expressed interest in the Chippa United shot-stopper during the summer transfer window.
Nwabali signed a new, improved three-year contract with Chippa United and was named club captain. This season, he has continued to shine, recording four clean sheets in 11 league appearances. Chippa United currently sits in sixth place in the league standings.
According to South African news outlet Soccerladuma, Kaizer Chiefs may renew their interest in Nwabali when the transfer window opens in January.
Chippa United has conceded 13 goals so far this season, the highest in the South African top flight.
