The National Youth Service Corps’ Governing Board has promoted eight members of the NYSC Management Staff to the position of Directors on salary grade level seventeen (17).
Aremu Kehinde, Abdullahi Yusuf Baba, Amusan Oluwole Julius, Chukwu Chiwendu, Fasakin Bona Adibeli, Isa Abdulazeez Onimisi, Ibrahim Abdul Muhammed, and Ahijo Yahaya are the names of the candidates.
This was part of the outcome of the recent 2023 nationwide NYSC Senior Staff Promotion Examination held in Abuja.
Similarly, a total of 1,123 (1,123) staff from various cadres, including both junior and senior staff in the Scheme, were promoted to new grade levels in the Federal Civil Service.
Mrs. Christy Ifeyinwa Uba, Acting Director General of NYSC, congratulated the successful candidates on their success in the examination while presenting letters of promotion to some of them in her office in Abuja on Wednesday.
She advised them to let the promotion motivate them to perform better in the performance of their duties, adding that the Scheme expects more commitment, loyalty, diligence, and selfless service to the Scheme.
“Promotion requires effort. “Let me use this medium to congratulate the successful candidates and hope that the promotion will motivate them to perform even better,” Uba said.
