Offset has put an end to the rumors.
Wack 100 allegedly claimed during a Clubhouse chat that J Prince had been arrested and that Offset and Quavo had been placed in protective custody because their lives were in danger. The story went viral, with several hip-hop Instagram blogs sharing it.
Offset was eventually drawn in by the rumor. He denied any suggestion that he was under federal protection after seeing the headline on My Mixtapez.
“Wtf is this cap ass shit?” he remarked.

In a video, J Prince, whose son was present when Takeoff was shot and killed in Houston in November, denied the rumors as well. “This shit’s funny to me… People make a living by telling lies. “They actually lie to you for a living,” he explained.
“However, as you can see, it’s live and in color. “This is what my jail cell looks like,” the Rap-A-Lot Records CEO joked while relaxing poolside.
Wack 100 also appeared to deny responsibility for spreading the rumor. “Don’t stamp it if you don’t have the content of me saying this,” he told DJ Akademiks before addressing Offset. “@offsetyrn, you’re having a great day today.”
