Following Takeoff’s terrible passing, his colleague Migos member has declared he is postponing the project. Offset acknowledged the postponement of his sophomore LP in a direct message with a fan.
The fan inquired in a snapshot of the conversation, “I know it’s probably the last thing on your mind, but is your album still dropping Friday?”
Unexpectedly, Offset replied, writing, “No pushed back.” He did, however, provide a fresh release date.

Offset changed his Instagram profile to mourn his Migos sibling Takeoff, who was fatally shot outside a Houston bowling alley on November 1. Offset has not publicly commented since Takeoff’s passing.
The release date for Offset’s sophomore album was previously slated for Friday. The album, which comes after his 2019 solo debut Father of 4, features songs like “54321,” which was produced by Baby Keem, and “Code,” which features Moneybagg Yo.
Tragically, Takeoff’s funeral will now take place on Friday at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena. Thousands of members of their families, friends, and fans are anticipated to attend, including Offset and Quavo. The open memorial, which begins at noon, will feature performances by Justin Bieber and Alicia Keys. Tickets were made available online, however, the location has reached capacity.
