Omarion is open to the possibility of a future romance with Nia Long.
The singer and actress sparked dating rumors last week after they were seen showing PDA on the red carpet at the You People premiere. Long is seen affectionately holding Omarion’s hand in the video, which Omarion posted on Twitter.
Omarion, who is 14 years Long’s junior, captioned the photo with the blushing face emoji.
However, after the video went viral, Nia put an end to the rumors. “Everyone calm down… “I’m single as hell,” she said on The Shade Room.

When asked about the rumors this week, Omarion confirmed that they are not dating and that he was meeting Long for the first time.
“I met her for the first time on the red carpet,” Omarion, who is currently single, explained.

When asked if this was his way of “putting out the fire,” Omarion replied, “Well, I wouldn’t say that.”
When asked if a future romance was possible, Omarion left the door open. “You never know,” he said, adding that he has “nothing but respect for the queen” and that there was a “strong Scorpio vibe” in the air.
Long is also single, having recently ended her relationship with her longtime boyfriend Ime Udoka. The couple, who have a 10-year-old son, called it quits after the former Boston Celtics head coach was accused of having an affair with a female coworker.
Before their breakup in 2016, Omarion dated Apryl Jones. They have two children: A’mei, six, and Megaa, eight.
