Omoni Oboli Blasts Ghanaian TV Stations for Airing Her Movies Without Permission
Nigerian actress Omoni Oboli has called out television stations in Ghana for broadcasting her films without obtaining the proper rights.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday evening, she expressed frustration over the unauthorized airing of her work, directing criticism at the Ghana National Film Authority for failing to address the issue.
Oboli emphasized the effort and dedication involved in filmmaking and made it clear that she intends to take legal action against those responsible.
In her words:
“I love my Ghanaian friends and colleagues, but those TV stations airing my movies without permission—I’m coming for you! The audacity! You will face the consequences for every unauthorized screening.”
She further highlighted the importance of intellectual property rights, stressing that such violations will no longer be tolerated.
With growing concerns over copyright infringement in the entertainment industry, Oboli’s outburst has sparked conversations about the need for stricter regulations and enforcement.
