Rapper, film, and television producer Curtis James Jackson III, better known under his stage as 50 Cent, has revealed plans to adapt Ramon Abbas – Hushpuppi’s life story into a television show.
The news was made on Wednesday night for Jackson’s Instagram page, where he wrote: “For my scammers, I had done this one, Hushpuppy series coming soon.” Jackson is known for producing popular television shows including Power, Power Book II, and Power Book III: Raising Kanan, among others.

Hushpuppi was recently given 11 years and three months prison sentence, meaning he will remain behind bars for nine more years after serving two.
He was taken into custody for scamming more than 1.9 million individuals, the majority of them were Americans. He also admitted guilt to the allegations brought against him.
Meanwhile, Nigerians who are fans of 50 Cent have had conflicting reactions to the news.
Atewologun Laolu-Ogunniyi, a musician and relationship therapist also known as Skukipeeshaun, wrote: “Sigh… I’m feeling conflicted! How did we allow this to pass us by, Nollywood? Damn!”
Also pleading with 50 Cent to allow a Nigerian actor to take on the role was Nollywood actress Uche Jombo.
