After Casemiro put on an outstanding technical display for Manchester United in the Europa League, Paul Scholes acknowledged that he was taken aback by his ball-handling skills.
Scott McTominay was replaced by Casemiro, a £70 million summer acquisition from Real Madrid, as United Defeated Sheriff Tiraspol 2-0 with ease.
After the game, Scholes told BT Sport that despite the 30-year-impressive old’s trophy haul, he was pleasantly surprised by Casemiro’s impressive range of passing and thought the player was more of a “[ball]winner” after watching him play alongside technical masters Toni Kroos and Luka Modric for several seasons
