According to official results currently being announced at the national collation center in Abuja, the southern state of Abia has overwhelmingly voted for Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi.
Mr. Obi received 327,095 votes.
With 22,676 votes, Atiku Abubakar of the opposition PDP came in second. Bola Tinubu, the candidate for the ruling APC party, received 8,914 votes.
