Veteran Nollywood actor Zulu Adigwe has been laid to rest in Abuja. Adigwe passed away on Tuesday, April 23.
The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) President, Emeka Rollas, shared photos from the funeral on his Instagram page, which took place on Thursday.
Among those who attended were fellow actors Zack Orji, Hanks Anuku, and Benedict Johnson. Rollas captioned the photos, “Yesterday we condoled with the family of Late Zulu Adigwe. May his soul rest in peace.”
Zulu Adigwe started his acting journey at the tender age of seven, making a memorable early TV appearance in “Basi and Company,” where he took over the lead role from Albert Egbe.
His debut film, “Blood of the Orphan,” garnered critical acclaim. By 2004, he was starring in “Living Abroad” with Ernest Asuzu, Emeka Enyiocha, and Anne Njemanze.
In 2019, Adigwe captivated audiences with his portrayal of Pascal Nworie in “Living in Bondage: Breaking Free.”
