Josephine Ijeoma Otabor, better known as Phyna, the winner of Big Brother Naija’s ‘Level Up’ edition, has accused a police officer of stealing her money. Phyna shared the allegation in a post on her X handle on Tuesday.
According to Phyna, the incident occurred during a routine stop and search in Lagos. She claims that while the police were inspecting her car, N3,000 went missing from her pigeonhole. Phyna asserts that she did not hand the money over to the officer and is frustrated by the loss.
She posted: “Today, a policeman stole my 3k. While they were searching my car, I had N3,000 in my pigeonhole, but it disappeared before I could even react. I definitely didn’t give it to him.”
As of now, the Lagos State Police Command has not yet responded to these allegations.
