Pop Smoke’s posthumous music may be scarce.
Rico Beats, the late rapper’s manager/producer, revealed that there will be no more Pop Smoke albums because there is no unreleased music left in the vault.
He revealed this after a fan messaged him, asking if there were “plans for Pop’s remaining music.”
“Who said he had any music left?” Rico Beats countered.
After expressing his disappointment, the fan continued, “What else ya want pop died 3 years ago how much more music ya think he did in one year.”

He also claimed that most of the posthumous music would not have been approved by Pop. “If Pop was alive today, he would not approve 99 percent of what they put out.”
In February 2020, Pop was tragically killed during a home invasion robbery in the Hollywood Hills. His estate has released two chart-topping posthumous albums since his death, including 2020’s Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon, which spawned platinum hits such as “For the Night” and “Dior.”
Faith, his second posthumous album, was released a year later and featured collaborations with Chris Brown, Dua Lipa, Kanye West, and Pharrell.
Posthumous music has grown in popularity and profitability for rappers such as Juice WRLD and XXXTentacion, who have achieved greater commercial success after death.
However, it is still a contentious issue among artists. Tyler, the Creator recently made headlines when he announced in his will that his unreleased music would not be released after his death. Anderson is a surname. In addition, Paak got a tattoo prohibiting the release of posthumous music.
