South African Rapper Malome Vector Dies in Tragic Car Accident
Beloved South African rapper Malome Vector has tragically died in a car accident. Ambitiouz Entertainment, Vector’s record label, confirmed the heartbreaking news on social media Thursday evening.
The accident occurred in the Free State on Wednesday night while Vector was traveling with fellow musicians Puleng Phoofolo and Lizwi Wokuqala. The crash also resulted in injuries to two other individuals, who were taken to Boitumelo Regional Hospital for treatment.
The record label shared a poignant tribute: “With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of a shining star; the Lion of Lesotho’s sun has set. Our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends during this time of immense sorrow.”
According to the Free State Department of Health, “Three men were declared dead at the scene of the accident on the N1 near the Koppies turn-off close to Kroonstad.”
