The Federal Government has granted NAEBI Dynamic Concepts Limited the sole authority to collect Helicopter Landing Levies across all aerodromes in Nigeria. This also extends to Helipads, Airstrips, FPSOs, and offshore oil rig platforms within the country.
The announcement came through a memo from the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, addressed to all civilian helicopter operators in Nigeria, stating the immediate implementation of this decision.
In the memo, Keyamo emphasized the importance of full compliance with the directive, urging all operators and stakeholders to facilitate NAEBI Dynamic Concepts Limited in levy collection. Non-compliance, he warned, would result in appropriate sanctions.
Keyamo affirmed the Ministry’s commitment to enforcing compliance rigorously, emphasizing that any breach would face necessary consequences. Monitoring of adherence to this mandate would be vigilant, with swift actions taken against any violations.
In recent events, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) took action by suspending the permits of three private jet operators for conducting commercial flights against regulations.
