In a late-game collision with Iran’s Mehdi Taremi outside the penalty area, Wales goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey was shown the first red card of the Qatar World Cup on Friday.
After the video assistant referee’s intervention in the 86th minute, the stopper’s initial yellow card was increased to a red one.
