The rocket will live forever.
Quavo is preserving Takeoff’s memory. He announced on Twitter that his second solo album will be titled Rocket Power.
“#RocketPowerAllMyEmotionsInThisAlbumNoInterviews,” Quavo tweeted.

The rocket mantra is frequently associated with Takeoff, whose solo debut album, The Last Rocket, was released in 2018.
Quavo has not yet announced a release date for his new album. He released his first single, “Honey Bun,” last month. Previously, he paid tribute to Takeoff with two songs, “Greatness” and “Without You,” which he performed at the Grammys.
Quavo is still standing up for his late nephew, who was fatally shot outside a Houston bowling alley in November. As he prepares for his next solo album, his first since 2018’s Quavo Huncho, he’s been using the hashtag #ForTake. Only Built for Infinity Links, his collaborative album with Takeoff, was released in October.
Quavo has kept a low profile since Takeoff’s death, but he recently attended the premiere of Praise This. In the Peacock film, he co-stars with Chloe Bailey.
