There is a new source of contention within the Royal Family, and it does not involve Prince Harry or Meghan Markle.
The conflict, in this case, is between Queen Consort Camilla and Prince William, as the wife of King Charles III is thought to be pushing for her children to have more responsibilities within the Royal Family.
Camilla’s children from her previous marriage to Andrew Parker Bowles, are Laura Lopes, 45, and Tom Parker Bowles, 48, and she is pushing for them to become even more involved in the Royal Family now that her new husband – whom she married in 2005 after leaving Parker Bowles – has become king.
According to Radar Online, “they already get a lot of perks because of their mother, but she’s been flexing her newfound power.”
“There is even talk of giving them apartments at Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace, or another royal property entirely.”
“Some say Camilla is gradually but steadily eroding Charles’ family. Everyone is wondering if this was her intention all along.”
The conflict between Queen Consort Camilla and Prince William
Prince William is displeased with the latest developments because he desires power for himself, his wife Kate Middleton, and their three children, George, Charlotte, and Louis.
“The rumor is that Camilla’s five teen grandchildren will be present at Charles’ coronation,” the source added.
“She wants them to be as visible as William and Kate’s children, with whom Camilla isn’t particularly close.”
“That’s another reason Camilla wants Tom and Lara to be included in all family affairs.”
“William believes his father should confront her. Despite his displeasure with Camilla’s plotting, William places the majority of the blame on Charles.
“She’s always had the upper hand in their relationship, and the king despises conflict.”
