The proceedings have begun at the national collation center in the capital, Abuja.
According to the Independent National Electoral Commission (Inec), the results from 17 states are now ready to be announced.
First, some people are addressing the chairman of Inec.
Despite calls from some opposition parties for new elections, the chairman of the Inter-party Advisory Committee (Ipac), Yabani Sani, has asked him to continue announcing results.
“The show has to go on,” he explained.
This is supported by Daniel Nwanyanwu, a candidate for the small Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).
